Ketul Sakhpara, CFA is Founder at BayFort Capital. He has 20 plus years of experience. Prior to BayFort, he was Head of Equity Research at Mahindra Manulife Mutual Fund. Mr. Sakhpara was a Fund Manager at Franklin Templeton based out of New York City for six years before joining Mahindra Manulife. He managed multiple Global Funds at Franklin and extensively toured various regions/countries such as the EU, South America, Australia, and China in search of alpha-generating stocks for the fund. He and his fund won several accolades including a four-star rating from Morningstar for all periods since inception. Mr. Sakhpara’s fund was one of the twelve Franklin Equity Funds to achieve a four-star rating for all periods amongst hundreds of funds offered by Franklin globally. Prior to this, he was a founding member at Tudor Pickering’s Long-Short Equity Hedge Fund in New York; the fund beat CS HF Index for all periods. In his pre-MBA position, Mr. Sakhpara worked as a senior research engineer, Wireless Terminals Laboratory at Samsung in Dallas and holds multiple patents for innovations in mobile devices.
Mr. Sakhpara is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Pune, Masters in Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mr. Sunil Subramaniam
Shri Sunil Subramaniam is a seasoned professional in the financial services industry with over 40 years of experience spanning the public sector (State Bank of India, United India Insurance), multinational banks (American Express Bank, Bank of America), and the private sector (Sundaram Mutual Fund).
He retired as Managing Director of Sundaram Mutual Fund in 2024. Having joined the company in 2005 as Vice President – Retail Distribution, he went on to lead several key functions over the years — including Sales and Marketing (2007), International Business (2013), and served as Deputy CEO (2014), CEO (2015), and Managing Director (2018).
During his tenure, the company’s Assets Under Management (AUM) grew at a CAGR of 20.9% per annum, expanding from ₹2,256 crore to ₹80,791 crore.

With over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, finance executive, and strategy consultant, Puneet has built and scaled businesses in Analytics, Investment Banking, Investing, and Technology Services. Currently, he is a co-founder and the CEO of Right Skale, an AI-first cloud/data company.
Before Right Skale, Mr. Shivam founded the Avendus US entity along with the founders in 2007. As the CEO of Avendus US, he led teams, managed P&L, and oversaw complex transactions across the USA, Europe, and Asia, raising capital from top PE funds like KKR. Previously, he was a board member and Head of Analytics at Inductis, which grew to be a leading data analytics company before its acquisition by EXL Services.
Puneet serves on the boards of Jade Global, Right Skale, Avendus US & UK, and TIE NY and on the risk committee of BayFort Capital. He is also a seed/angel investor in several successful AI and Tech companies.
Puneet holds an executive MBA from Harvard Business School, an MBA degree from IIM, Ahmedabad, and his B.Tech and master's degree in Engineering Management from IIT, Kanpur.
Jigar Desai is an Advisor at BayFort Capital. He has over 20 years of healthcare executive and operations experience.
Mr. Desai served as CEO and Executive Chairman of GlobalHealth and Executive Chairman of Medical Card System, Inc., leading health service organizations that offered Medicare Advantage (“MA”) plans to over 220,000 members in Puerto Rico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Prior to GlobalHealth, Mr. Desai served as CEO of Florida-based HMO Freedom Health & Optimum Healthcare, which he helped grow from 10,000 members to ~140,000 upon exit to Elevance (NYSE: ELV) in 2018 for over $1.5 billion
He served as a Manager of Finance at Centene (NYSE: CNC) before joining Freedom Health. Mr. Desai holds an MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College

Why Global Investment?
BayFort Capital is an international investment management and advisory firm founded by Ketul Sakhpara, former Global Fund manager with Franklin Templeton in New York City.
Most investors don’t have access to investing in the products and services that they use on a daily basis; these products and brands are likely to generate significant wealth over the next few decades. International investors use all these global services and products but are unable to participate in the growth of those companies through local publicly listed companies.
